Bonecos da Montanha is a puppet theatre group from southern Brazil with over 30 years of experience. Co-founded by Nelson Haas and Elisabeth Bado, the group is known for blending Brazilian traditions with contemporary themes, using the art of puppetry to connect with audiences of all ages.Our performances celebrate cultural heritage while addressing social and environmental issues. We are committed to sustainability, using recycled materials in our productions to reduce our ecological footprint.
We have presented our creations in many cities across Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Chile, Wales, England, France, and Taiwan.

The Landlord A satirical glove puppet performance exploring power dynamics and human relationships. This show uses humor to engage audiences while addressing profound societal issues, showcasing traditional manipulation techniques.

Gaúchos – 100% Tradition A vibrant celebration of southern Brazil’s culture, this performance delves into the world of the gaúchos, exploring their traditions, music, dance, and storytelling with a touch of humor.
